End of September

It has been really nice outside lately. This weekend the boys loved to play in the sprinklers outside.

Tigger

Blake has a lot of energy lately. He found the Tigger costume that Landon was for a couple of years and decided he wanted to be Tigger. He ran around and didn't want to sit still for a picture. Landon tried to help contain Blake for a picture.

Halloween

Blake wanted to be Buzz Lightyear for Halloweeen. It probably reminds him of Disneyland. He loves to say - To infinity and Beyond and fly around.
Lanodon is really into Star Wars lately. He decided he wanted to be Darth Vader.

Disneyland

We didn't realize how much Blake loved going to Disneyland this summer. Ever since we went in June, the only thing he says in his prayers is, "Thank you for Disneyland, Amen". With his Buzz Lightyear stuffed anmial, he makes him say that his is thankful for Disneyland when Buzz says his prayers. Now Blake is asking if we can go do Disneyland tomorrow.

Landon's School Update

Last week, Marcie was only allowed to walk him to the clock at the front of the school. He had to wait until the assistant principal or a teacher would come to take him to class. He wouldn't go to class without someone walking him to his class. Landon had to start walking to class on his own this week. He really didn't want to. On Monday, Landon was a little late to class. When I took him to school, the school office said I couldn't walk Landon down to his class - he had to go down on his own. He stood outside the office and didn't want to go down. He stood there and waited until an office secretary came out to help him to his class. On Tuesday, Marcie dropped him off at the carpool. He had to wait until a teacher came to the door and helped him out. He was really scared. By Wednesday, he was doing great.

Landon is loving school. He loves to learn. Since Landon knows all of his phonic sounds that they started to learn this week, his teacher is helping him sound out words now. He has made friends with a boy in his class that is also in our ward, Cameron. They play games at recess and have a lot of fun together.

Landon has one complaint. He says that he doesn't have enough time to play anymore. Landon will wake up early so that he can play a little more before school

Boys First Major League Baseball Game - Texas Rangers

We got some amazing Texas Rangers tickets from one of the banks we are thinking of using at work. They were the second row behind the home team dugout. We were only able to stay for an inning and a half since it started to downpour. The boys had a lot of fun seeing their first big leauge stadium and game. They also got soaked because it went from cloudy to rainy in about 2 seconds. It was fun to share the experience with them. I had forgotten how much fun it is to go see a baseball game. It is the end of the season now, so we will have to go back next year.

New Paver Pad

We decided to make a new pad from pavers in our backyard to put our trashcans on. Previously, our trashcans were just on the grass. The grass wouldn't grow where they were at and it would get muddy when they rained. Everyone helped with the project and Marcie laid down all of the pavers in the sand. We think it will be much better.
