Queen

Landon made this crown for his mom. He called it her queen hat. Landon said that whenever she wore it, he and Blake would have to do whatever she said. Marcie will be wearing it often.

Batman and Spiderman

On Sunday afternoon, the boys decided to put on their old Halloween costumes. Blake would only allow me to call him batman and Landon Spiderman. They love to pretend to be these characters. Blake is really into Buzz Lightyear lately. He loves to pretend to be Buzz all the time. He says: "To infinity and beyond!" and then flys around.

New Plants

When my parents were visiting, they helped us plant some flowers in these pots. With all the rain we have been having (it has rained almost everyday since the middle of May), they have really started to flourish. We love how it helps our curb appeal and our grass is really green.

July Home Depot

Here are some pictures from the July Home Depot. The boys made a memory box. Landon uses it to store all the pamphlets or any free thing he can while we are shopping.

Vacation Day 11 (Going Home)

Today was our last day of vacation. We stayed the night in Orange County at the Westin - South Coast. In the morning we went to see the new Disney film - Ratatouille. It was a fun movie to see. Our flight was a late flight where we got in around 1am to Dallas. The boys loved flying. It was a great family vacation, we had alot of fun together. It was a busy vacation, but it was very refreshing.

Vacation Day 10 (Disneyland - last day)

Today was our last day at Disneyland. We went back to all the rides the boys loved the best. We went to the Dumbo ride, the Carousel, Buzz Lightyear's laser game, Autopia - the car ride. We sayed to watch the fireworks and the boys loved seeing a real Tinkerbell fly around the castle.

Vacation Day 10 (Hard Rock - La Jolla)

On the way back from San Diego to Orange County, we stopped by La Jolla Cove where Marcie and I went on our honeymoon. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe in La Jolla where Marcie and I ate at when we stayed just a few blocks away.

Vacation Day 9 (Family Play Day)

Today we went to my parents campsite and to the beach. The boys loved playing in the sand. Landon wanted to go play in the waves. Landon and his dad went into the ocean and splashed around in the waves. Landon kept wanting to go further and further into the ocean. It was so much fun to watch him have so much fun playing in the waves and hear him laugh when the waves would crash on him. He had so much fun. Blake was a little more timid. He went out in the ocean, but he was a little smaller and the waves would knock him around too much for his taste. He stuck to playing in the sand. The boys loved playing with their cousins. We all went to Islands for lunch, the the outlet stores in Carlsbad. In the evening we went back to the campsite and had a fire. The boys loved roasting marshmellows. The boys were tired at the end of the day.

Vacation Day 8 (San Diego Zoo)

Today we went to the San Diego Zoo. We went with my parents and sisters. Landon loved to see Lydia. We had a lot of fun seeing all the animals. Landon loved seeing the elephants. Blake loved going on the sky tram. We ended off the day with a trip to In-N-Out. (We aslo had In-N-Out for lunch!)

Vacation Day 7 (Family Day)

Today we went to the pool at the hotel - the boys loved it. The kids pool was only 4 feet at it's deepest. They also had people come around with grapes every so often. Also right by the pool they had a sand area - Blake loved playing in the sand. The boys favorite part of the day was seeing their cousins and being able to play with them. We also went to a local farmers market and got some strawberries and peaches. They were excellent. The whole family went to a nice seafood restaurant right on San Diego's bay - right about sunset. Here is where we went: http://www.gofishanthonys.com/grottoabout.html

Vacation Day 6 (Sea World)

Today we went to Sea World in San Diego. The boys loved the Shamu show. They also loved petting the sting rays. Their favorite part was playing with the star fish. They played with the starfish for a long time.

Vacation Day 5 (Hotel)

Here are some pictures of where we stayed on Coronado Island in San Diego.

Vacation Day 5

On our way down to San Diego, we saw something that was pretty funny. You can kind of see it in this picture. Someone was hauling a BBQ down the freeway in their convertible. You can see it here in their back seat and he was holding on to it with one hand and driving with the other!
