CAUTION: Post and Picture Overload
We have been way behind in posting on our blog. We are getting caught up. If there are too many pictures for you, just scroll fast to the next one. :-)
No Training Wheels
Anyone who knows Landon knows that calling him cautious is putting things mildly. He has been very hesitant to learn to ride his bike without training wheels. Well, I decided enough was enough! He figured it out in about thirty minutes! It was so easy, I cannot believe we waited so long!
America Day
Here's a super cute picture of Landon with his American paraphernalia. They had a day all about America at school complete with a parade of all the 2nd graders.
New Year's Visitors
On the way to Costa Rica, Shirlene and Dave had a six hour layover in Dallas. It was great to see them for a few hours! We hung out at home while Dave took a short nap (they had to get up very early, and it was New Year's Day). Then we took them to Abuelos for lunch!
New Media Room
Jeff's Christmas present this year, a media room!!!! We've been waiting to set up the media room in our house for a year and a half, so we finally did it. It is so cool and so much fun! Thanks to my dad for helping Jeff hang that huge screen and install the projector! As you can tell from the pictures, we hooked to Wii up in there, too.
Lego Indiana Jones
Blake got this Indiana Jones Temple lego set for Christmas, so of course he enlisted his brother to build it for him! It took a couple of days, but it's still all in one piece almost a month later!
Lego Christmas Countdown Calendar
Jeff found a really cool Lego Advent Calender for the boys. Apparently, they make a new one each year. Each day of December has a new lego. It ends up being a whole lego village complete with Santa Claus.
Building Legos and Playing with New Toys
Best thing about new toys is that they keep the kids busy for a long time! Here are some pictures of the boys enjoying some of their new Christmas presents.
