Landon's 2nd game

Landon has his 2nd game on Friday. He had 2 hits out of his 3 at bats (he is consistant) - with one RBI.

Home Depot

After Blake's game (as you can see - still sporting the t-ball uniform), we went to build at Home Depot. They were building bird houses - Landon made his all by himself this time around. They love to build.

Landon was so cold - he was so very vocal about it too. He made it sound like he was in a blizzard when it was in the low 60s.

Blake's First Game

It was a little cold the morning of Blake's first game. He had so much fun. They were all so cute to watch.
Blake hit very well - he had solid hits on his first try.
Here is Blake on first base - along with the first basemen - both standing on the base.
Blake knew where the action was - the 2nd inning Blake ran directly to the pitcher mound before anyone else could get there.

The Saturday after Landon's game, Blake had his first T-ball game. Blake felt like such a big boy. As soon as he recieved his uniform the day before, he didn't want to take it off.

Texas Ranger Game

After Landon's first game, we went to the Texas Rangers game. They played at the minor league ballpark close to our house. The boys had a lot of fun. After the game they had fireworks - Blake was too tuckered out and missed the fireworks, but Landon loved them - especially because they played some Star Wars music.

His coach is very patient with Landon. Landon is starting to gain some confidence.

Getting Ready for Landon's First Game

Landon had his first game a couple week's ago. Needless to say he was a little excited for his game and got a little silly.

Jeff posted this with no explaination. We saw this on youtube awhile ago and laughed so hard. This guy totally hits the nail on the head. Anyway, a friend of mine from church had this on her blog, and I thought that was a good idea, so that anyone who hadn't seen this video clip yet could check it out and have a good laugh.

Harry Potter

So, I stayed up until almost 1 am finishing up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I absolutely loved the entire series. I can now see what all the fuss has been all about for so long! The great thing about waiting until now to read them was that I was able to move from one book to the next without having to wait a year for it to be published!

I decided to read them because Landon is really into Harry Potter now. He saw the first movie, and he really enjoyed it. And I had started reading the first book to both of the boys. However, I think some of the other movies are way too mature for him. We'll wait a few more years, same with the books.

I could go on and on about how much fun I had reading these books, but I don't want to bore anyone. I'll just say, if there's anyone left who hasn't read these, they are missing out!!!!

I'm so glad I finally finished and got to find out how it ended! Lots of surprises! I cannot wait to see the last couple of books made into movies.

Our New Addition

After dog-sitting for some friends, Jeff realized how much Sugar liked having another four-legged friend around...so we got Chloe! She is a half Yorkie, half Bichon frise. She is four months old and just so dang cute!
